In the dynamic realm of tattoo digital artistry, my journey began years ago, marked by resilience after a 2010 motorcycle accident that left my dominant hand impaired. In 2017, I left the hotel industry to pursue my dream, apprenticing with a skilled artist. Navigating various studios, fate led me to a mentor opening a shop, allowing me to blend my roles as a tattoo artist and an artist at heart. I have been licensed since early 2018 and I continually evolve my tattoos by drawing ideas and using inspiration from fellow industry artists.
Certainly in my journey in the tattoo industry has been marked by many unique challenges. The most prominent obstacle has been my physical limitation of having only one arm. Tattooing demands precision and dexterity, which can be challenging with this limitation.
Additionally, breaking into the industry as an apprentice and gaining acceptance was not easy. Many doubted my abilities due to my physical condition but overcoming these doubts and proving my skills required immense determination.
Yet, these challenges have become a driving force. They’ve shaped me into a more resilient and creative artist. Each tattoo I create is a testament to my determination, reminding me that art transcends physical boundaries and reflects the strength of the human spirit.
